The Winery
Podere Pavolini is a historical wine producing company owned by the Terzoni family and run in person for over thirty years by Graziano Terzoni, oenologist and wine expert. The winery is situated across the Val d’Arda hillside, the surrounding area is full of historical hamlets and cities rich in art, boasting their antique oenological and gastronomic traditions.
The majority of the wine produced from this area is dedicated to local consumption and therefore it is relatively unknown to the general public outside the area. Terzoni has chosen to make the most of the indigenous vines resulting in a high quality production. Malvasia, Ortrugo, Fortana and Bonarda are relatively unknown grapes but they are extremely significant to this area.
Having experimented at length with these grape varieties Graziano Terzoni has reached an appropriate production method for each individual variety, enabling him a delicate and attentive approach, producing harmoniously high quality wines which genuinely represent their origins.
Since April 2023 Podere Pavolini has been associated with the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers
